Description
Spalted (sometimes called “ambrosia”) maple is wood that has been marked by decomposition and aging. Spencer Peterman hand-turns this wood on a lathe, producing strikingly unique bowls, boards, and other items.
Food-safe
Dried down to 6% moisture and are treated with beeswax and mineral oil
Hand-wash only
Due to the unique nature of Spencer Peterman’s products, the amount and design of the spalting will vary by bowl.
